The deal

The Film Timeline is free to use. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Your account

You must be 13 or older. One person per account. You are responsible for what your account posts. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and deletion is permanent.

What you post

• Posts, comments and your display name must not contain harassment, hate, threats, spam, sexual content involving minors, or other people's private information.
• You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to display it on the site, which is the entire point of posting it.
• We can remove content or accounts that break these rules, without notice. The owner of a post can also delete comments under it.
• To report content, use the report controls on the site or write to support@thefilmtimeline.com.

The catalogue

Film data comes from Wikidata under CC0. Poster artwork and film titles remain the property of their respective rights holders. Streaming availability data comes from JustWatch via TMDB. If you hold rights to something shown here and want it removed, email support@thefilmtimeline.com and we will handle it promptly.

Fair play

No bots, no scraping the site, no automating game submissions, no attacking the service. Leaderboard entries that were not earned by a human playing get removed.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either, and we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it, to the maximum extent the law allows.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
